This year was the first year that we did not have a beach family reunion. Mom and dad decided that it was the kids turn to take the reigns and with a little funding and nudge in the right location take care of the planning. Since I am the oldest, I had the first crack at it. We decided that with so many families with babies and little children in Utah, that was where the reunion would be held. I did some checking around and figured that Snowbird would be a great location. There are lots of activities, a huge home with a small condo and pool next door (where we stayed with the David Myers family) and great hiking and exploring for the kids. The weather was beautiful - and if you can't tell, we stayed over July 4th weekend. Aunt Katie and I spent an afternoon tye-dying shirts for everyone to wear. We ate way too much food, swam multiple times everyday, hiked, played cards, watched Disney movies and rainstorms and had a great time. Here are the shots to prove it.
All of the Myers Grandkids.
The usual hiking crew.
Our family at the top of the peak.
The kids doing the bungee trampoline activity, alpine slide and ropes course.
Thanks mom and dad! We had a wonderful time and as crazy as it was, we love each other! Tag Katie, you and Eric are it - unless there are more babies to be had!:)
