Visits to Gardner Village to see all of the new baby animals that are on display - and of course feed the crazy attacking geese while we are at it.
Going hiking - a new favorite is taking the Roxy dog to Tanner Park and following the trails there. Grandma Cindy and Grandpa Walt were even in town for one of our hikes!
Attending our first (and probably our last) Utah Gymnastics meet. I think we all really enjoyed watching the first few events, but we lost interest in seeing the same thing over and over and over....
McKaleigh wrapped up the debate year with a banquet and speech and trip to La Caille. It has been the best extra activity she has taken place in for a very long time - she is going to continue it next year!
Lots of walks with Roxy. We have to spell the word walk around her. If she sees us putting our tennis shoes on or hears that word, she is hot on our trail for hours!
And we had some family time at the bowling alley. We really enjoy it and have such a great time trying to out bowl each other...it's that Cushing competitiveness coming out!
I attended Alex's Spring hat parade - where all of the kids make hats celebrating the return of Springtime
Both of the boys decided to play soccer this year - and they both played Goalie their first game. Colton has decided he really does like baseball better than soccer and tennis better than both. Alex is kind of a sport of all seasons kind of guy - as long as there are friends and a trophy involved.
We are ready for Summer weather. We have our garden ready for plants, swimming suits ready, new deck and umbrella ready for dinners outside, some 5K's on the books so bring it on!
