This Spring, as always, we have been really busy doing life! We've had lots of things to keep us running around!
Alex worked really hard this Spring on a report about Spain. He had to write multiple pages, with an oral presentation. We even got churros for the class to enjoy during his presentation!
Then he received multiple awards for Math Olympiad and good character!
Colton has been busy this Spring with tennis - we hardly ever see him! Here are a few shots from his last year...
And he received this award for Athletics and Academics!
Soccer continues to keep us on our toes!
And McKaleigh moved home! She has finished her classroom experience at college and is home and ready to student teach in a few months, after that...Graduation!

Senior Ball 2019
We were excited for Colton's last dance of his high school career - Senior Ball. He decided to go with a friend that he has been getting to know a little bit better over the last few weeks - Amelia. They had a big group of friends that went to a trampoline park during the day, and a fun restaurant and the dance for the evening.
It's been an amazing ride watching this kid grow up and turn into an adult! What a great young man and example he has been!

Drum Roll....Brazil Ribeirao Preto Mission
This is a day that we have waited for with much anticipation for months! Colton is so excited to be headed to the Brazil Ribeirao Preto Mission in just a few short months. I can say, that his friends have been called to missions all over the world, and I spent more than a minute worrying about where he would be serving for the next two year. I let out a sigh of relief when I heard Brazil, and have been assured by many friends that this mission is a wonderful place. In fact, Aunt Sheri's dad was the mission President in that exact mission, and they have been to the city and said it is a great place. I am so excited for Colton to learn Portuguese and head off on this adventure!
We had planned a fun evening with friends and food in the backyard for the announcement, but about an hour before, it started pouring rain. We had to move the announcement to the church - because he had so many supporters for this occasion! We are so glad that so many friends and neighbors came to share this occasion with us!
Here is he reading the call...and mom leaning in with anticipation!
Dad hugging an emotional Colton!
The family all together to share in the news!

Coachella
Our annual anniversary trip to the Coachella Music Festival happened in April this year. The lineup was good, but not great...However, the company and atmosphere was amazing! We so enjoy this 3 day festival, and look forward to it every year! It is the little recharge that we need and feel so lucky that we can make it happen:). This year was the 20th anniversary of the festival, and as you can see, we enjoyed our time listening to good music!
