We have cleaned out EVERY room in our home. During Spring Break we went room by room and got rid of lots of "good junk". We donated an entire one car garage's space worth of stuff to the DI. Everything from new games that we never opened and have no desire to- to old suits and clothing to microwaves, golf bags and the like. It feels great!
Baseball and soccer season have started up, and will keep Brett and I running in different directions until mid June. Alex thinks that he would like to start t-ball in June and Colton is thinking about diving lessons. McKaleigh is taking a break from karate and is trying out some classes at the recreation center - she would also like to take tennis lessons this Summer - we'll see how that goes. Colton is loving scouting and has just started his overnighter trips that will continue into the Summer. McKaleigh has at least one weeklong trip each month this Summer and sometimes two... I just don't remember being that busy with planned activities as a kid - what happened to just going for bike ride to get slurpees or making forts?!
Brett and I are just staying busy with all kinds of family, home, work stuff - he has a few trips coming up, is training for a few bike rides and running races and has lots of "to do lists" when he is home. I have been puttering around the garden, am still watching kids a few days a week and trying to get through my school work during any free time I do find. We have had a few dates shopping for guns, I had my first shooting lesson and we are ready to make a purchase - I hope to never really have to use outside the gun range! We have managed to get a few bike rides in, long walks in and just love spending time together! Our lives are busy, but good and I would not have it any other way while our kiddos are still young and love to do stuff with us.
