Yuba Lake

We didn't waste any time sitting around waiting for Summer to roll in... Right after McKaleigh's graduation and a quick trip to Oregon for Grandpa Walt's graduation, we were off to Yuba Lake in the trailer.  We chose this spot for a couple of reasons... It was close, It had a zipline, and we had heard lots of good stuff about it.  We were sad that McKaleigh couldn't join us on this one, but with a few weeks of work left she decided to work the weekend.

Here are some fun shots from the trip...

Shortly after we got there, we determined what kind of river monsters we were dealing with...This dead fish Alex found was about a foot and a half!

 There were so many fish - literally swarming around, you could fish right from the shore...or spray them with a water gun!

 Colton and I tried fishing from the paddle board - the lake was beautiful and it was fun to sit and chitty chitty chit chat together

 After a bit, and so many fish around, Colton decided he could probably catch one without a pole...and he did!

 We got ALOT of use out of both kayaks and the SUP this trip!

 On day two we explored the camp ground that had the zipline.  I had no intention of going, but Colton talked me into it!

 Yuba Lake was so much fun and i'd go back in a minute, but there are so many other adventures and not enough time!  We love camping or glamping or whatever you call it!
