Museum Of Natural History

We spent some time at the Museum of Natural History (almost all day), and I can't believe that we haven't visited this amazing place before now!  It is so modern and has so many hands on activities, interactive computer quizzes, puzzles and more!  It was a really fun adventure and is right at the base of the Bonneville Shoreline trail...which we haven't explored either!  I feel like there are so many wonderful things, right here in our backyard.  Here are some of the pictures from our day...

Here we are at the Native American pottery station.  there are all different kinds of jars, and you have to piece them together.  It was fun trying to figure it out - like a puzzle.  There is another station like that were you have to piece together a dinosaur head....Alex, McKaleigh and I could not figure that one out!

 A huge all of dino skulls.  It was so neat to see which ones were native to Utah.  I think is was amazing to think that some of these animals were here, in our state, once upon a time.

 I would recommend this as a day adventure for anyone.  It was such a fun place to spend the day, just minutes from home!
