Brett and I are pretty avid HGTV watchers. We have seen every remodel and fix it you can find, so when it came time to DIY our bathroom, we thought it would be a simple thing...a few weekends and that would be that - not so. Our demo went really fast, one weekend and the bathroom looked like this.
We were really proud of ourselves! We were cheap labor and worked really well together...it was the rest of the project that made us crazy! Right after this demo Brett was out of town and tied up with work for the better part of 4 weeks - so much for our quickie DIY project (and we were out a bathroom!). But, MANY more weeks later, lots of decisions on color, wood, tiles etc...we were done! Here is the finished project and we couldn't be happier OR less excited about taking on another one!

What a great job you did!
The whole project took at long longer than you planned, but it turned out wonderful. The tile work, the paint everything. What a wonderful new bathroom.
That looks great you guys! Hopefully I can even see it in person sometime!
