Sledding!
As most of you know, Winter Weather has arrived in the Salt Lake Valley. We had been waiting and waiting for the snow to come - mainly because we have a great sled hill going to waste! What is so great about this hill? Well, it is small enough to avoid any massive injuries yet big enough to build a small jump and pick up speed, and it is close to home. The kids can walk over there with there sleds, and if I look close enough, I can see them from the deck. Here is everyone all suited up and ready to go.
Here we have a close up of Alex - his first experience with a sled. He was just fine sitting there. You can see McKaleigh (in her pink hat) and Colton running up the hill, in the background.
Here is daddy pulling Alex along...very slowly. He had a hard time holding the handles with his gloves and fell off. I thought that would be the end of his snow experience, but he was a trooper!
He decided to take a turn with the pulling. This brought his great Joy! He loved toting the empty sled around the snow.
Here is our McKay, off in the distance. She was very proud of herself for going off the jump that some local snowboarding boys had made.

Mallory and Elliot want to head to the sweet sledding hill again this year. We are going to have to plan a trip. By the way that was way brave to let mckaleigh take alex. Good job mckaleigh.
That looks so FUN! I'm hoping our kids will get to do that this winter--they've haven't experienced it yet. ;)
